Privacy Policy
Tyigo LLC collects the minimum it needs to sell you a rug and get it to your door. This page says exactly what that is.

What we never see
We do not collect or store your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. Your card number never touches this site's servers. We receive only whether the payment succeeded, the amount, and the last four digits of the card.
Your shopping bag
The contents of your bag are stored in your own browser's local storage, not on our servers. Clearing your browser data empties it. It holds only which rug and how many — no personal or payment information.
Why we are allowed to hold it
- To perform a contract — your order details, address and contact information. We cannot sell you a rug without them.
- Legal obligation — transaction and tax records, which we are required to keep.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the site secure and preventing fraud.
- Consent — anything optional, such as being added to a mailing list. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We pass it only to the companies that make the order happen:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe is a separate controller of the payment data it collects; see stripe.com/privacy.
- FedEx — your name, address and phone number, so the rug can be delivered.
- Our hosting provider — which necessarily processes server logs to serve the site.
- Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose.
International transfers
We are a US company, and our processors may handle data in the United States and elsewhere. Where data is transferred out of the UK or EEA, we rely on the safeguards our processors have in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Order and transaction records — for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Correspondence — while it is useful for supporting you, then deleted.
- Server logs — a short rolling period, for security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR in the UK and EEA, and the CCPA/CPRA in California — you may have the right to:
- ask what we hold about you, and get a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have data deleted, where we do not need to keep it for a legal reason;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw consent you previously gave;
- not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of them, email contact@tyigo.com. We respond within one month. We may need to verify who you are first — usually by writing to the email address on the order. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This shop is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies
Cookies and similar storage are covered separately in our Cookie Policy.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. Where a change is significant, we will say so prominently on the site.
